Dominick Conte (b. 2003) is an locally based designer, actor, creative, performer, musician, and educator. Dominick has always had a strong interest in the arts, and received his Bachelor in Music Education from West Chester University in 2025. Dominick has played the violin since third grade, and it is now his primary instrument. Dominick has studied privately with Elizabeth Agger, Carmina Gagliardi, Carlos Rubio, and studies currently with Ari Isaacman-Beck. Dominick also plays clarinet, flute, piccolo, alto saxophone, oboe, trumpet, trombone, french horn, viola, cello, piano, guitar, ukulele, as well as being a vocalist.
Dominick attend Council Rock High School South in Holland, Pennsylvania, where he had the privilege of being a member of the well known music department. Participating in the Council Rock South Orchestra under the direction of Christopher Simon, and the Council Rock South Choir under the direction of Corey Axler, Dominick has had many performance opportunities. Highlights include: The White House, The Kimmel Center, The Pennsylvania Music Educator's Association Conference, The Citizen's Bank Park, & a foreign performance tour of Spain (Seville, Granada, & Toledo).
Dominick also is a well versed theatrical actor, designer, and technician. Under the direction of Lori Naglak, Dominick gained much of his theatrical experience within Golden Wings Theatre Company. Within the organization, Dominick was an actor, light board operator, head lighting designer, assistant sound designer, assistant sound technician, assistant stage manager, head electrical director, pit musician, music director, and co-president.
Inspired by one-man-bands and similar concepts, Dominick had always wanted to perform pieces where not only did he play one part, but played all the parts, as well as singing and conducting. After a hospitalization in June of 2020, Dominick set his heart on making his vision come to life, and in August 2020, "Poor Unfortunate Souls" was published. Since then, Dominick has continued to create, picking pieces that not only are meaningful to him, but also, he feels, are valuable to the world.
As mentioned, Dominick graduated from the Wells School of Music at West Chester University in May 2025. He graduated at the top of his class with Summa Cum Laude honors, and he also served as the student commencement speaker for the Wells School of Music ceremony. After graduation, Dominick began teaching elementary strings in the Cheltenham School District. In this role, he has been building a successful string program for beginning fourth and fifth grade students in multiple buildings.
